of Online Professionals. Her PhD is in educational psychology and

Born Canadian, and now a US Citizen, Dr. Rhoberta Shaler studied in both countries while completing
her degrees. Her post-graduate work is in educational psychology
and her 100's of hours of mediation and negotiation training is from the internationally
recognized Justice Institute of British Columbia.
She has appeared on many radio and television programs. For eight
years, Shaler offered executive retreats and life-enhancement programs
as owner of Serenity Farm Retreat on beautiful Vancouver Island in British
Columbia, Canada.
While engaged in her private counselling & coaching
practice, Dr. Shaler presented more than fifty different workshops and
keynotes for the British Columbia Teacher’s Federation, the
BC Clinical Counsellors Association, various government organizations
and numerous private organizations. She was administrator of an
alternate school for at-risk teens and principal of an experimental
school. Her pre-professional career included singing in supper
clubs and choreography and direction in musical theatre while completing
her degrees.
Dr. Shaler is the past president of the BC Clinical Counsellors
Association and a former Professional Development Associate
of the BC Teachers’ Federation; and is currently
a member of National Association of Female Executives, eWomenNetwork,
Shared Vision Network, and a former member of Rotary International,
Organizational Development Network, and Family Mediation Canada.
Rhoberta Shaler lives in a resort setting in Escondido, CA. She
has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. When she takes
time for herself, she practices yoga, takes long walks, swims, and
shops for books.
